In traditional Kuwaiti homes, the liwan was a place for rest, gatherings, and hospitality. It was a shaded space connecting the house to the courtyard, where water was always close by and ready for anyone passing through. That’s where the name Barma Liwan came from.

To preserve the quality and details of every piece, we limited this edition to just 50 Barmas, individually numbered from 01/50 to 50/50.

Once this edition is gone, every home that owns one will have a unique, individually numbered Barma that will never be made again.

Barma Liwan arrives complete, just as shown: the 6-liters Barma, base, lid, cup, and stainless steel spigot.

The Barma body is handcrafted from high-quality natural Italian clay. The base, lid, and cup are made from white clay with a glossy finish, giving the Barma a cleaner, more modern look.

Every Barma also comes with a guide explaining how to prepare, use, and clean it.
